I came across this gallery of wildlife photography a while back. No doubt it came to me through using Stumble!
Anyway, I just wanted to share it with you because I found this work to be glorious.
Just so you know, my favourite photograph is "Elephant with Exploding Dust, Amboseli 2004", with "Giraffe and Baby in Trees, Maasai Mara 2002" a close second.
I'd love to know what you think. Leave a comment with your favourite image.

I love Nick Brandt's work. Have you checked out Martyn Colbeck's photography too? He does very similar work and has made a documentary about Echo and her family of elephants which was on UK TV recently.
Hi Diane,
Thanks for visiting.
I hadn't come across Martyn Colbeck's work before, so I went looking to see his work and came across this link.
I think I have become very attached to elephants now. :)
This was the link I was going to send you! The TV program about these elephants was stunning.
What completely stunning photographs. Thanks Oh Waily.
Aphra.
Thanks for posting this link OWW; some pretty stunning shots although some are a bit over-Photoshoped IMHO. I also like the intertwined giraffes (because I'm soft really) and "Lioness Looking Over Plains" for its contemplative simplicity.
Hi Bruce,
I agree with your comment about some being over-Photoshoped. The windwept look being an obvious one.
If you haven't already, then the images from the link to Martyn Colbeck's photographs is worth a look too. Especially the elephant calves playing
I hope your trip went well. I'm away from my feedreader and feeds at the moment, so will catch up on your blog when I get home and get the computer back from storage.
Did you take many photos and should I be checking out your Flickr album?
